class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Bihar Labour Department on September 21, 2020 has revised Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) in the minimum rates of wages fixed for different categories of employees employed in 69 schedule employments for January 2020 to June 2020. The total rates of wages effective from October 01, 2020 for different categories of workers are as follows:

The payment of VDA on the basis of average index of January-June, 2020 will be payable from October 01, 2020 and thereafter increase or decrease in the amount of VDA will be based on the average of All India Consumer Price Index no for every six months and will be applicable after the expiry of 3 months after said period of six months.
