Government of Orissa extends the period of lockdown till May 31, 2020

The State Government of Odisha has extended the period of lockdown throughout the State till May 31, 2020.

The following activities would remain suspended during lockdown:

 All domestic and international travel air travel except for domestic medical service or security purpose as permitted by Ministry of Home Affairs.

 Schools, colleges and all educational institution would remain close and only online mode will be permitted.

 Restaurants, hotels, religious places and all hospitality services will remain close.

 All social, political and other gatherings of similar nature is prohibited.

 Sports complexes will open without any spectator.

 Activities permitted in containment zone 

 Two wheelers and four wheelers movement will be allowed subject to compliance of Standard Operating PROCEDURE by State transport Department.

 Movement of individual to be remain suspended between 7 PM to 7 AM. Authorities are supposed to ensure compliance of the same.

 It is mandatory to install Arogya Setu App in Mobile.

 Inter-state movement of all types of goods will be allowed

 Violation of these guideline measures shall be punishable under the Disaster Management Act besides other legal provision.

 The areas will be divided into Red, Orange, Green, containment and Buffer zone

 The local authorities are obliged to conduct detail analysis of the geographical spread of cases. In the containment zone there shall be intensive contract tracing and only essential activities will be allowed.
