Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension issues measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 across operational Departments

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension on April 23, 2020 has issued measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19. As per these measures, the officers at Deputy Secretary level and above must function regularly and remaining staff can attend the office as required. Crowd in the offices must be avoided and safe social distancing must be practiced. Staff working from home should be present telephonically and electronically at all times to maintain smooth communication.

In order to avoid overcrowding at workplaces staggered timing may be followed which may be:

(i) 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

(ii) 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

(iii) 10:00 am – 6:30 pm

Heads of the Departments may formulate suitable roaster as required.
