Ministry of Textiles issues quality control mechanism for fabrics required to manufacture PPE Body Coveralls

The Ministry of Textiles on April 24, 2020 has issued a quality control mechanism for fabrics required to manufacture Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Body Coveralls manufactured in India to streamline the process of testing and ensure the quality.

All the manufacturers of fabrics are required to give a Declaration in the affidavit form for testing and certification of proto-type sample of fabrics required to manufacture PPE Body Coveralls for COVID-19 pandemic. The declarations to be made on a notarized stamp paper of minimum Rs. 500/-.
