Government of Odisha relaxes industries from the lockdown restrictions

The State Government of Odisha on April 29, 2020, relaxes industries units from the lockdown restrictions.

However, the Government of Odisha lay down the following stipulations for the movement of industrial units personnel from their home to corporate offices or industrial units or Government offices and back:

The Collector or Municipal Commissioner will allow the operations industrial units on application submitted by the corporate or industrial units which have been permitted to operate during the lockdown period.

The Head of the industrial unit or corporate office will covey to the Collector or Municipal Commissioner the number of personnel (up to 30% of staff strength) as well as the number of vehicles required.

Two Wheeler with rider and car is allowed with driver plus one passenger in the back seat.

The Collector or Municipal Commissioner are authorised to issue passes for inter-district movement of personnel of such offices or industrial units.
