Commercial Compliance

The Government of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu allow construction activities during lockdown.

The following construction activities are:

a.Construction of roads, irrigation projects, buildings and all kinds of industrial projects, including Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in rural areas i.e., outside the limits of municipal councils and all kinds of projects in industrial estates.

b.Construction of renewable energy projects.

c.Continuation of works in construction projects within the limits of municipal council, where workers are available on site and no workers are required to be brought in from, outside (in situ construction).

d.Construction activities in rural areas, includes, water supply and sanitation: laying or erection of power transmission lines and laying of telecom optical fibre and cable along with related activities.

In view of the above relaxations, the Agencies may carryout construction activities subject to certain conditions.
