Industry Specific Compliance

The Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of Animal Husbandry has extended the telemedicine services and care portal for the benefit of livestock farmers, animal owners and the public in general to ensure uninterrupted public services even in the times of COVID-19 lockdowns.

The livestock farmers and animal owners can obtain veterinary-medical advice by calling designated providers on their mobile numbers. The directorate has provided a list of providers on district and block-wise. These designated doctors shall guide the callers in providing remedies either using home-care measures or can deliver the medicines at doorstep. It has also introduced a facility to solicit assistance and submit complaints on web portal http://care.jkahd.net.

The public is advised to fully utilize these services for handling issues related to their livestock, pets as well as to seek support for any other issues pertaining to other departmental services.
