CDSCO issues Notice regarding submission of notarized documents for import and registration of cosmetics

The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on April 20, 2020, issues Notice on submission of notarized and apostilled documents for import and registration of cosmetics in view of COVID-19 pandemic. CDSCO had received representations while submission of notary, apostilled and regulatory documents such as Power of Attorney, FSC and manufacturing licence due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, it has been decided that the applicant may submit applications for import registration along with such documents which are self-attested and an undertaking that they will submit the notarized documents with legal signature after obtaining the same from the concerned authority within four months.

Once the applications with self-attestation in received will be processed and import registration with the condition that the firm shall submit the notarized documents obtaining the same from the concerned authority after normalization of situation.
