Government of Delhi extends the license period for sale of liquor

The Delhi Commissioner of Excise on April 17, 2020, extends the validity of existing L-1 or L—1F or L-2 licenses for the sale of liquor brands registered as per approved terms and conditions for 2019-20 at their existing price upto June 30, 2020 in accordance with the provision of Delhi Excise Rule, 2010.              

The L-1 or L-1F or L-2 who are willing avail this extension period of three months for selling of their registered brands at existing period, are required to deposit three months fee (i.e., License fee, Label Registration fee, BWH fee and any / all other fees, as applicable to L-1 / L-1F / L-2 licensees on pro-rata basis for a period of three months in advance. This option is voluntary.
