MHA clarifies on exclusion of E-commerce companies from consolidated revised guidelines on COVID-19 lockdown

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on April 19, 2020, clarifies on exclusion of E-commerce companies from consolidated revised guidelines on COVID-19 lockdown dated April 16, 2020.

Whereas, vide Order dated April 19, 2020, clause 14(v) of the consolidated revised guidelines, relating to E-commerce companies has been excluded. In this regard, MHA clarifies that while operations of e-commerce companies for non-essential goods stands prohibited, but they will continue to operate for essential goods as ha been allowed earlier.
