Government of Maharashtra orders not to reduce wages or wages of homeless/displaced workers and foreign workers trapped during the Lockdown period

The State Government of Maharashtra on March 31, 2020, has ordered all private establishments, factories, companies, shops (excluding essential services), etc. to pay the entire salaries and allowances to their Establishment workers (contractors, employees and workers provided by outsourcing, temporary workers and workers, workers on employment) during lockdown period.

Due to corona virus outbreak there is lockdown of 21 days, which forced the employees and workers to stay at home. Therefore, all private establishments, factories, companies, shops will pay the entire salaries and allowances to their employees or workers.

This order will be applicable to all semi-governmental, industrial, commercial, commercial and commercial establishments in Maharashtra.
