UGC requests all Deemed to be Universities to upload the performance report on UGC web portal

The University Grant Commission (UGC) on March 12, 2020, has requested all the institutions Deemed to be University to upload the performance report and academic outcomes on the UGC web portal. UGC had notified the UGC (Institution Deemed to be Universities) Regulation, 2019, where a web portal was developed for Deemed to be Universities. All the proposals for Deemed to be University status and the commencement of new courses or off-campuses or off-shore campuses by current Deemed to be Universities can now be submitted online only on the Deemed University portal.

All Deemed to be Universities shall also upload the performance report on each aspect & academic parameter along with all other supporting documents on UGB web portal immediately which would be monitored annually by the UGC. The cycle of submission of such will be during November 01 to December 31 every year. In case of failure to do so within the specified time limit, appropriate action will be taken by UGC as per the provisions of UGC (Institution Deemed to be Universities) Regulation, 2019.
