Industry Specific Compliance

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) on March 11, 2020, has clarified that applicants are required to submit their applications along with fees in different divisions of this Directorate for obtaining various permissions. CDSCO had observed that the applicant submits their online applications inadvertently to a division or section not related to their application, for example New Drug Division, FDC Division, GCT Division, Import & Registration Division etc.

Thus, to avoid such situations and to establish a more transparent, accountable and hassle-free optimised process, the fee paid for such application can be considered for submission and processing of that application in the related division of CDSCO, HQ, after receiving the confirmation of application being declared as inadvertent or not related to the division applied for by applicant.
