MoLE informs that Registration of New Public and Private Limited Companies for EPFO and ESIC now available on MCA Portal

The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on March 06, 2020, informs that the Registration for Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for new Public and Private Limited Companies and One Person Company has been stopped on Shram Suvidha Portal from February 15, 2020.

Therefore, with effect from February 15, 2020new Public and Private Limited Companies and One Person Company will get registration number for EPFO and ESIC on MCA portal (http://www.mca.gov.in/) through Spice + and AGILE-PRO eforms only at the time of incorporation.

However, the above new companies will have to comply with the provisions of The Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions, 1952, and Employees State Insurance Act, 1948 when they cross the threshold limit of employment under the respective Acts.
