MoLE extends the services of the industry engaged in Food Stuffs to be a Public Utility services

The Ministry of Labour And Employment (MoLE) on February 17, 2020, declares the services of the industry engaged in Food Stuffs which is covered under item 6 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947, to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a further period of six months with effect from the date of publication of the notification.

Whereas the Central Government in public interest extends the public utility service status to the said industry for a further period of six months.
