The State Government of Haryana on February 05, 2020, has published the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas (Amendment) Rules, 2020 to further amend the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Rules, 1976.

The amendments are as under:

 Under Rule 11 which specifies the conditions required to be fulfilled by applicant:

i. Clause (e) has been substituted;

ii. Clause (e1) has been added: The applicant shall undertake to hand-over the possession and transfer the ownership of such land, as demarcated and identified in the approved layout plan either through gift deed or, in such form and manner, as may be specified by the Director and such land shall vest with the Government to achieve the desired objective of the Act, in such colonies to this effect is imposed by the Director, at the time of grant of licence.

 Rule 15A has been inserted: Extension of time for construction of community sites.

 Rule 19 has been substituted: Action to be taken after cancelation of licence.

 Insertion of Forms which shall deemed to have come into effect from April 03, 2018:

i. Form LC-VIIIA: Request for Grant of extension of time period construction of Community Site.

ii. FORM LC-VIIB: Grant of extension for construction of community sites.

iii. FORM LC-VIIC: Rejection Orders by the Director.

iv. Schedule C has been inserted: Rates of extension fee for construction of community buildings.
