The State Government of Kerala on January 24, 2020, has revised the minimum rates of wages for the employees employed under Liquor Trading and Vending industry Sector.

Foreign Liquor

I.                    Monthly Basic Wages

Grade II: Route Manager/Bill Collector; Checker; Cook; Clerk; Driver

Grade III: Store man/Store Worker; Sales man/Supplier; Transport Workers; Shop manager; Depot Workers

Rs. 14,480


Grade IV: Helper; Kitchen Assistant; Boy/Cleaner; Watchman

II.                  Piece rate


Rate of basic Wages


Labelling Worker

10 paise per label

Sticking 4000 Labels per day

In addition to the rate of wages, the employees will be eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA). The workers are eligible for one DA for a day subject to a maximum of 6 DA for a week. DA will be paid only for the days worked.


In the case of employees who are at present getting higher wages than the minimum wages fixed as per this notification they will continue to get such higher rates.
