TRAI launches Complaint Management System portal for redressal of consumer complaints

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on January 09, 2020, has taken an initiative to launch an online Complaint Management System (CMS) for effective redressal of consumer complaints to protect the interests of the consumers. While using CMS portal, consumers will fetch rule-based redress of complaints related to Value Added Services (VAS) activated on their phone. Where double consent for VAS has not been recorded by TSPs, the consumers shall be able to file claims for the cost of VAS for one month. The claims, if any, will be settled by TSPs only.
