Government of Goa publishes the Removal of Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions on Specified Foodstuffs (Second Amendment) Order, 2019

The State Government of Goa on November 07, 2019, has issued the Removal of Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions on Specified Foodstuffs (Second Amendment) Order, 2019 to further the Removal of Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions on Specified Foodstuffs Order, 2016.

Under Clause 3(2) which specifies that on certain foodstuffs Government removes the licensing requirements, stock limits and movement restrictions, after the item (iii) the following item shall be inserted namely:

Item (iv) - Onion, for a period up to November 30, 2019 with following stock limits on traders for all the States and Union Territories.

It will come into force with immediate effect.
