The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on November 07, 2019, has declared the services engaged in the Copper Mining Industry to be a public utility service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
Whereas, the Copper Mining Industry lastly declared to be public utility service for a period of six months from April 11, 2019.
And whereas, in the public interest MoLE extends the public utility service status to the Copper Mining industry for a further period of six months with effect from the date of publication of this Notification.
