EPFO issues direction to constitute the Internal Complaints Committee

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on September 27, 2019, issues direction to constitute Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as per the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and send the compliance report within 15 days of the issue of this Circular.

In case of failure to constitute an Internal Committee, the employer shall be punishable with fine which may extend to Rs. 50,000/- in the first instance.
