Government of Telangana revises the minimum rates of wages in hand loom (silk) Weaving Establishments

The State Government of Telangana has revised the minimum rates of wages and variable dearness allowance (VDA) payable to the workers employed in handloom(silk) weaving establishments with effect from April 01, 2019 to September 30, 2019.

The followings are the categories:

1.WRAF PROCESSING:  (Piecing 100 ends)

Dressing of wrap (per month, Dressing of wrap (per unit) I.e. 8 Sarees, Tie &Dye Preparation (per unit), Dressing (per unit) (Cleaning of rough yarn), Casual Labour (per day).

2.WEFT PROCESSING:

Bobbin Winding, Bobbin Winding (per unit), Pirn Winding, Pirn Winding (per unit), Doubling of Weft, Doubling or Weft (per unit), Casual Labour (per day).

3.WEAVING (1) PLAIN WEAVING:

4.WEAVING WITH BORDERS:

Design in border for first 24 kolukulu per meter over 24 kolukulu, For every 10 additional Kolukulu (or fractions over 24 Kolukulu in the design in the border per meter), Weaving with Borders and Design (per unit i.e. 8 sarees), attached borders or solid borders, TURBANS (With Loose Texture).
