FSSAI invites request of proposal for conduct of food safety audit of licensed slaughterhouses

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on September 12, 2019, invite Request of Proposal (RFP) for conduct of food safety audit of Sate and Central licensed slaughterhouses all over India. There are around 400 slaughter houses divided into three zones (Annexure A) all over India are to be audited.

General conditions of audit:

1. The agency should have been recognized for the scope of slaughter house by FSSAI.

2. The audits should be carried out by experienced auditors of agency.

3. All these audits including audit reporting should be carried out within five months of awarding the RFP.

4. FSSAI have right to withdraw RFP at any stage if it feels that such action is in the interest of FSSAI.

The audit should be conducted as per the FSS (Food Safety Auditing) Regulations 2018. This RFP is open for all audit agencies recognized under FSSAI. Every agency can submit their financial bid for either one or all zones of slaughter houses. The last date for receiving the financial bids in September 30, 2019 by 03:00 p.m. The bids will be opened on September 30, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Floor 05, Conference Room, FDA Bhawan, FSSAI HQ, New Delhi. A pre bid meeting will be held on September 20, 2019 at 11:00am at 5th floor conference room, FDA Bhawan, FSSAI HQ, New Delhi.
