UGC issues letter regarding digital transaction

The University Grants Commission (UGC) on August 06, 2019, has requested all the universities and colleges to submit the information of monetary transaction by using digital modes. The Ministry of Human Resource Development vide its letter dated May 31, 2017, has desired UGC to issues necessary advisory to all Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) that all monetary transactions of the educational institutions to be done using digital modes of payment under the National Digital Payments Mission (NDPM). The UGC had issued an advisory to all HEIs requesting for implementing digital mode of payment vide letters dated June 06, 2017 and August 28, 2017 and November 02, 2018.

All universities and colleges are requested to submit the information of digital transaction on the University Activity Monitoring Portal (UAMP) of UGC which can be access at, for the financial year 2018-2019 and first quarter of the financial year 2019-2020 by using user ID and password provided by UGC by August 16, 2019.  In case of any difficulty in submitting the information or non-availability of User ID and password, please contact on email at [email protected].
