Draft Goa Food Security (Grievance Redressal Mechanism, Transparency and Accountability) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2019

The State Government of Goa on August 08, 2019, has published the Draft Goa Food Security (Grievance Redressal Mechanism, Transparency and Accountability) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2019, to further amend the Goa Food Security (Grievance Redressal Mechanism, Transparency and Accountability) Rules, 2017.

The amendment in the Goa Food Security (Grievance Redressal Mechanism, Transparency and Accountability) Rules, 2017 is as under:

Insertion of new rule:

Rule 19 Realisation of Penalty: The penalty imposed shall be deposited by the public servant or authority concerned by Treasury Challan in Form I under such budget head as may be decided by the Civil Supplies Department, within the period of thirty days of the order of the State Commission, failing which, the amount of such penalty shall be recovered from the salary of such public servant or authority concerned.

The draft rules will be taken into consideration by the Government after expiry of a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette that is August 08, 2019.

All objections and/or suggestions to the draft Rules may be forwarded to the Director, Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, 1st Lift, 2nd Floor, Junta House, Panaji, Goa, before the expiry of the period of 30 days.
