Telangana Government makes mandatory for all Government and Non – Government entities for registration of Internal Complaints Committee

The State Government of Telangana makes it mandatory for all the government or non government organizations and companies with more than or equal to ten employees to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for resolving sexual harassment complaints at work place under the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. 

The Women Development and Child Welfare Department of Telangana has launched a web portal to register ICC and all the details of the ICCs shall be registered by HR of the company. 

All ICCs should complete the registration process on or before by June 15, 2019 and failure in completion of the registration process will result in penalty of an amount of Rs. 50,000/-.
