The West Bengal Labour Commissioner specifies the minimum rate of wage in the employment of medicinal plants plantations other than cinchona plantations in the State of West Bengal, which will be effective for a period from July 01, 2019 to December 31, 2019.
The minimum rates of wages and Variable Dearness Allowance, if any, both constitute the minimum rates of wages and shall be enforceable under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
