The West Bengal Labour Commissioner has fixed the minimum rates of wages in the employment of Consumer Co-operative Societies, Primary Agricultural Co-operative Societies or Marketing Societies for the period from July 01, 2019 to December 31, 2019.

Unskilled

Semi-skilled

Rs. 8996.00

Rs. 7891.00

Skilled

Rs. 9895.00

Rs. 8681.00

Highly Skilled

Rs. 10884.00

Rs. 9551.00

The classification of employees is as follows:

Ø  Unskilled: Peon, Cleaner, Sweeper, Security Guard, Bearer, Darwan;

Ø  Semi-skilled: Duftry;

Ø  Skilled: Clerk, Typist, Accountant, Computer Operator, Office Assistant;

Ø  Highly Skilled: Manager, Senior Assistant, Supervisor.
