The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on June 04, 2019, directed to all field offices to take necessary action in order to verify all the documents submitted by the employer along with original records to ensure that no payments are based on forged or fabricated documents for revision of pension on higher wages. The employer has to submit the documents from November 16, 1995, or the date on which salary exceeded the ceiling limit showing the details of higher wage on which PF contribution was remitted.

EPFO has further directed all the field offices to ensure the authenticity of the documents submitted by the employer and also the eligibility of the concerned member before revising pension on higher wages.
