Haryana Government establishes City livelihood Centres under National Urban Livelihood Mission

The Haryana Labour Department on June 14, 2019, informed that city Livelihood centres (CLCs) has been established to provide services to citizens by enrolling the urban poor.

The CLCs established under Social Mobilization and Institution Development component of National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM). In these CLCs, there are arrangements to provide qualitative services on day–to-day basis in different trades or streams by enrolling the un-organised skilled or semi-skilled or un-skilled workers at each CLCs. These CLCs are established on self-sustainable mode on business model.

Therefore, Haryana Labour Department requested to issue directions to all the offices of Department or Boards or Corporations or Agencies to ensure the availing of services of CLCs established in their towns or cities.
