The University Grants Commission (UGC) had requested all the academic institutions that is Central, State and Private Universities, deemed to be universities, institutions of national importance, school boards and others to enter into a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and upload the data on National Academic Depository (NAD). 

To further enhance the programme, the UGC has requested that all academic institutions do the followings and inform UGC accordingly by email on [email protected]:

 If SLA not signed then it is requested to sign the SLA by June 15, 2019, and if SLA has been signed then upload the legacy data by July 31, 2019

 To designate Nodal Officers for implementation of NAD and kindly share the details of Nodal officers

 Create a hyperlink of NDA URL i.e. http://www.nad.gov.in in their respective website

 Add a compulsory column of named “NAD” in both online and offline Admission or Examination form

University shall provide a unique ID to students which will be the NAD ID of student so that awards can be mapped with students’ account.

 Create awareness about NAD among the students through notices, events, lecturers etc. emphasizing how they can avail the facilities like access, verification and authentication of its own awards in a digital format.

 Provide university and college wise total enrolment of students from 2017-18 on the above-mentioned email.

It is also requested to kindly upload the legacy and fresh data of your institutions before September 30, 2019.
