MoLE notifies services of the industry engaged in the any oilfield to be a public utility service for further period of six months

The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on April 30, 2019, has notified services of the industry engaged in any oilfield, which is covered under item 17 of the First Schedule which specifies the industries which may be declared to be Public Utility of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, to be a public utility service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

MoLE has lastly declared the said industry to be public utility service for a period of six months with effect from September 16, 2018, vide Notification No. S.O. 4334(E) dated September 06, 2018.

MoLE declares the services of the industry engaged in any oilfield to be a public utility service for a further period of six months with effect from the date of publication of the notification that is April 30, 2019.
