MoLE notifies services engaged in the Uranium industry to be a public utility service for a period of six months

The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on April 30, 2019, has notified services engaged in the Uranium industry which is covered by entry 19 in the First Schedule of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, which specifies the industries which may be declared to be Public Utility, to be a public utility service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

MoLE declares the services engaged in the Uranium industry to be a public utility service for a period of six months from the date of publication of the notification that is April 30, 2019.
