Haryana Government mandates NOC for approval of Factories Act, 1948

The State Government of Haryana for ease of doing business has taken up measures and mandates the practice of prior obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Haryana Fire and Emergency services Department and NOC from Haryana State Pollution Control Board for the approval of factory plans under Factories Act, 1948.

While approving the factory plans, the occupier or stakeholders shall fulfill following conditions, those are:

•The occupier shall provide and maintain the adequate and suitable firefighting equipments in charge of a trained responsibility person and obtain NOC from Haryana Fire & Emergency Services Department.

•The occupier shall make arrangements for the disposal of trade wastes and effluents and carry out the environmental audit or record. The occupier shall obtain Consent to Establish or Consent to Operate (CTE / CTO) from the Haryana State Pollution Control Board.

The stakeholders and occupiers of factories covered under Factories Act, 1948 and the officers of the Labour Department, Haryana are ordered to adhere the instructions with immediate effect.
