The Medical Council of India on March 01, 2019, has published the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 in order to further amend Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002. The amendment made in Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002 aims at submission of false or wrong declaration form by Medical faculty-Submission of false or wrong information by a Medical Faculty in the Declaration Form submitted at the time of assessment by Council, will be treated as misconduct both by the medical faculty and the Dean/Head of Department counter signing the declaration Form.

This Notification will come into force on March 15, 2019.
