The Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Second Ordinance, 2019

The Ministry of Law and Justice on February 21, 2019, has passed an Ordinance called Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Second Ordinance, 2019. It will cease to operate on March 13, 2019.

This Ordinance amends certain subsections of Section 3A of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

This Ordinance also inserted a new Section 7A where the board of governors will be appointed by the Central Government on deputation or contractual basis and he will head the secretariat in the council.

By this, the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 is hereby repealed.
