The draft rules to further amend the Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rules, 1950 which the Central Government, after consultation with the Employees' State Insurance Corporation, proposes to make is published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby.

The said Draft Rules will be taken into consideration after 30 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rule, 1950 in Rule 59 which gives the amount of funeral expenses paid to the eldest surviving member of the family of an insured person who has died, for the words “Ten thousand rupees”, the words “Fifteen thousand rupees” shall be substituted.
