TNRERA issues Instructions regarding Registration Charge

Oct 05, 2018 | by Avantis RegTech Legal Research Team

The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA) has stated that for layouts approved after May 01, 2017 and application received for registration for construction in the specific layout, registration fees should be collected for the entire layout and for the building.

The promoter should register the layout first and then apply for registration of buildings. If the promoter produces relevant documents for registration for both the layout and for the building registration should be done for both the layout and building in the same file. However, separate registration number shall be assigned for layout and for the buildings.
