West Bengal Government revises Minimum Rates of Wages under Minimum Wages Act, 1948

Government of West Bengal has revised the minimum rate of wages for employees employed in any establishment as defined under the Shops & Establishments, Act, 1963 in the state of West Bengal with effect from January 01, 2018 till June 30, 2018. The minimum of wages are as under:

·       For Unskilled-

o   Zone A- Rs. 7661.00/-per month

o   Zone B- Rs. 6922.00/- per month

·       For Semi-Skilled-

o   Zone A- Rs.8427.00/-per month

o   Zone B- Rs. 7613.00/- per month

·       For Skilled-

o   Zone A- Rs. 9270.00/-per month

o   Zone B- Rs. 8375.00/- per month

·       For Highly Skilled-

o   Zone A- Rs. 10197.00/-per month

o   Zone B- Rs. 9214.00/- per month
